AMD OPEN ARCHITECTURE NETWORK CHALLENGE: Nairobi, Kenya

The task of this competition was to design a facility for Sidarec, sponsors of a youth recreation and electronic education center in one the Nairobi slumg of Mukuru Kwa Njenga. Estimates show half of the population in Nairobi lives in slums which cover just 5% of the city area. Resource scarcity and lack of financial support contribute to the dismal conditions facing many residents.
